RVUL began performing fully endoscopic ear surgery

On 9 December 2024, Vilnius University Hospital (RVUL) announced that it now performs fully endoscopic ear surgery. Dr. Irina Arechvo introduced the technique at the hospital.

Endoscopic surgery preserves normal ear anatomy and allows more precise operating than traditional microscopic methods. Dr. Arechvo has been a member of the International Working Group for Endoscopic Ear Surgery (IWGEES) since 2024.
